Western Bus Sales, Inc. was incorporated in 1974 in the State of Oregon.

Western Bus Sales Inc. is owned by four shareholders, three of which are active managers in the business with a combined 54 years industry experience.  Marlan and Barbara Rohlena are the principal owners, with their two daughters Sarah Jones and Mollie Blagg are also currently minority owners and very active in the business.

Marlan Rohlena began working for School Bus Services, a school bus contractor company in Gresham, Oregon, involved in the operations.  He accepted the responsibility of the sales side of the business in the late 1970s. He was promoted to the position of President of the renamed company, Western Bus Sales.  He and his wife, Barbara Rohlena, purchased the business in 1988, when there were only 4 employees. Since then, the operation has grown to over 35 full-time and part-time employees.  

Western Bus Sales has been a Blue Bird distributor since being incorporated in 1974, and has since expanded to include the Collins and Micro Bird by Girardin line of school buses, and the Champion, New England Wheels, Micro Bird by Girardin, NorCal Vans and Liberty line of commercial buses and vans. Our sales area ranges from Oregon and Washington to Alaska.

We offer a complete line of factory parts and support equipment. With an expansive inventory available, and strive to maintain good relationships with suppliers to improve terms and allow for quick turnaround time.

WBS offers an expansive Vehicle Service Team - WBS VEHICLE CARE - capable of providing not only pre-delivery and warranty work, but service on other vehicles as well. Our field service repair and parts sales provide our customers with personal service unsurpassed in our industry.
