Type D: The Blue Bird All American Transit School Bus

Since 1948, Blue Bird's All American transit style school bus has been setting the standard for safety. Following that tradition, the All American delivers the latest safety and strength features, as well as superior performance and longevity.

The flat front, panoramic windshield and exterior mirror system allow for better sight lines from every angle. The one-piece roof bow and unitized body construction ensure superior strength and durability. And like all Blue Bird buses, the All American is built reliable and easy to service.

• Engine offering is Cummins ISB-10 or ISC-10 engines, with horsepower ratings ranging from 200 hp to 300 hp.
• Large and well organized rear engine compartment offers technicians and drivers alike ease of maintenance and safety checks, including full pantographing engine compartment door.
• Available options such as full push through luggage compartments, transmission retarders, air suspension, LED exterior lights, heated and remote mirrors, tinted windows, and special needs equipment allow you to customize the bus for your specific needs.
• Full complement of seats are available, including highback bench seats, activity seats, child restraint seats, and integrated lap & shoulder belt seats
• Capacities range from 60 to 84 passengers

Front Engine (FE): The NEW D3 Blue Bird All American Front Engine Transit School Bus
The newly re-designed All American D3 Front Engine school bus is an excellent choice when maximum capacity, maneuverability, or special needs applications are required.

• Engine is the Cummins ISB-10, with horsepower ratings ranging from 200 hp to 280 hp.
• The low profile interior engine hood design offers ease of travel and safety checks for drivers, and can be completely removed for service without the use of tools.
• Available options such as exterior luggage compartments, air suspension, LED exterior lights, heated and remote mirrors, tinted windows, and special needs equipment allow you to customize the bus for your specific needs.
• Full complement of seats are available, including highback bench seats, activity seats, child restraint seats, and integrated lap & shoulder belt seats

Type C Conventional: The Blue Bird Vision Conventional School Bus

With the introduction of the Blue Bird VISION, Blue Bird Corporation has raised the grade in school bus safety. Perfectly designed for utilization as small special needs vehicles.

By engineering and constructing a new purpose-built chassis that incorporates a more angled hood design, Blue Bird has improved the driver sight lines in front of the bus - offering the greatest loading and unloading zone field of vision available.

The Vision is also the only bus in its category built on a chassis specifically designed for a conventional school bus. This ensures quality, reliability, passenger ride comfort and of course, safety.

• Engine choices are the Cummins ISB-10 or Ford 6.8L Propane engines, with horsepower ratings ranging from 200 hp to 280 hp.
• Available options such as exterior luggage compartments, air suspension, LED exterior lights, heated and remote mirrors, tinted windows, and special needs equipment allow you to customize the bus for your specific needs.
• Full complement of seats are available, including standard and highback bench seats, activity seats, child restraint seats, and integrated lap & shoulder belt seats

Type A: The Blue Bird Micro Bird by Girardin School Bus

•  Each Micro Bird by Girardin model is engineered for quality and equipped with the very latest safety features, including: a heavy-duty steel roll cage, a full-view outward opening electric entrance door, and the largest RH More-view driver view window in the industry.
• Available on Ford E-350 single rear wheel and Ford E-450 dual rear wheel chassis with gas or PROPANE engines. Diesel engines are currently not available from Ford.
• Available on Chevrolet single rear wheel and dual rear wheel chassis with either gas or diesel engines
• A full complement of seats are available: highback school bus bench seats, Freedman activity seats, and CE White child restraint seats and integrated lap and shoulder belt seats.
