Type A: The Micro Bird by Girardin MB-II:  Single Rear Wheel

Since 1966, Girardin has specialized in building small buses, and the MB-II is the flagship of our offering. The single rear wheel bus has gained an enviable reputation in the industry for its maneuverability, quality, dependability and low maintenance costs.

Its unique, patented, oval body shape allows for a wider interior and better compartmentalization for passenger safety.

• Available on Ford E-350 single rear wheel chassis, with either gas or diesel engines
• Available on Chevy/GMC single rear wheel chassis, with either gas or diesel engines
• Available in 4 or 5 row body lengths, with low or high headroom
• Available in school bus, multi-function school activity bus (MFSAB), or bus configurations
• Full complement of seats are available, including standard or highback bench seats, activity seats, child restraint seats, and integrated lap & shoulder belt seats
• Special needs and wheelchair lift configurations available
• Capacities range from 9 to 20 passengers

Type A: The Micro Bird by Girardin G5 MB-IV:  Dual Rear Wheel

The MB-IV has been totally redesigned to increase flexibility, functionality and safety. Based on the new G5 platform, the MB-IV is affordable, yet incorporates quality and reliability.

The G5 revolutionizes the way buses are designed and built, with such features as its one piece roof, safety zones and modularity to enhance comfort and safety.

• Available on Ford E-350 or E-450 dual rear wheel chassis, with diesel engine
• Available on Chevy/GMC dual rear wheel chassis, with either gas or diesel engines
